This section provides links to the drivers and client utility for the following wireless cards:
Long Range Wireless Card (802.11b)
Long Range Dual Band Wireless Card (802.11a/b/g)
The drivers and client utility are also available on the Installation CD provided with your wireless card.
Alert! You must install the appropriate wireless card driver before inserting the wireless card into your laptop. Failure to do so may prevent the card from operating.

QUICK START GUIDE LONG RANGE WIRELESS CARD (802.11b)

Notice! The following QUICK START INSTALLATION procedures are intended for users familiar with PCMCIA PC Card and driver installation under Windows 98/ME/NT4.0/2000/XP.
- Insert the SonicWALL Long Range Wireless Card Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive to launch the Setup page automatically.
If the Setup page does not display, you can manually select Setup.htm on the Wireless Card Installation
CD. On the Setup page, click SonicWALL Long Range Wireless Card Driver Installation, and
then Open. The InstallShield Wizard is launched and Setup is displayed. Click Next to
continue.
If you do not have the SonicWALL Long Range Wireless Card Installation CD, click on the following link to download the utilities:
Long Range Wireless Card (802.11b)
- Click Browse to select the destination folder. Click Next to select Program Folders,
and click Next to review your settings.
- Click Next to begin installation. Click Finish to complete the installation.
- Insert the SonicWALL Long Range Wireless Card into the PCMCIA card slot of your laptop to allow Windows
to detect and install the SonicWALL Long Range Wireless Card drivers.
CAUTION: Align the card properly before inserting it in the slot. Insert the card firmly without forcing it. Forcing a misaligned card into the slot can damage your SonicWALL Long Range Wireless Card and your computer.
- Be sure the network protocols are configured correctly for your computer including the IP address,
subnet mask, gateway, and DNS. If you are unfamiliar with configuring network protocols, refer to the
SonicWALL Long Range Wireless Card User's Guide located on the installation CD. You need Adobe Acrobat
Reader to view the User's Guide.
- For secure wireless access to your SonicWALL wireless network, download and install the SonicWALL Global VPN Client software locally on your system. For instructions to download and install the SonicWALL Global VPN Client, click here.

Notice! The following QUICK START INSTALLATION procedures are intended for users familiar with CardBus PC Card and driver installation under Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP.
- Insert the SonicWALL Long Range Dual Band Wireless Card Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive to launch the Setup page automatically.
If the Setup page does not display, you can manually select Setup.htm on the Wireless Card Installation
CD. On the Setup page, click SonicWALL Long Range Dual Band Wireless Card Driver Installation, and
then Open. The InstallShield Wizard is launched and Setup is displayed. Click Next to
continue.
