VPN>L2TP Server
The L2TP page allows you to set up the SonicWALL as an L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol) to support L2TP clients.
General
- Enable L2TP - Enables the L2TP Server
L2TP Server Settings
- L2TP Keep alive time (secs) - Allows the VPN Tunnel to remain active or maintain its current connection by listening for traffic on the network segment between two connections. Interruption of the signal forces the tunnel to renegotiate the connection. The default is 60 seconds.
- DNS Server 1, DNS Server 2 - Specifies the DNS (Domain Name System) Servers used by the L2TP server.
- WINS Server 1, WINS Server 2 - Specifies the WINS (Windows Internet Name Service) used by the L2TP server.
- IP address provided by RADIUS Server - Enables IP addresses to be provided by a RADIUS server.
- Use the Local L2TP IP pool - Specifies IP addresses from range listed in L2TP Local IP pool settings.
L2TP Local IP pool settings
- Start IP - Specifies the starting IP address for local L2TP IP address range.
- End IP - Specifies the ending IP address for local L2TP IP address range.
